By accessing or using Rent A Route's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Rent A Route provides Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting services. We offer dedicated computing resources including processing power, memory, storage, and network connectivity as specified in your chosen service plan.
To use our services, you must:
4.1 Payment Terms: All fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed. Payment is due immediately upon invoice.
4.2 Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new customers. Refunds are not provided for renewals, upgrades, or after the initial 7-day period.
4.3 Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing customers.
4.4 Late Payment: Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination. A late fee may apply to overdue accounts.

Your VPS is allocated specific resources as per your plan. While we don't impose artificial limits, you must:
7.1 Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We strongly recommend maintaining regular off-site backups.
7.2 Our Backups: While we maintain infrastructure backups for disaster recovery, these are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon for data recovery.
7.3 Data Retention: Upon service termination, your data may be retained for up to 7 days before permanent deletion.
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
Technical support is provided for infrastructure-related issues. We do not provide application support, custom software installation, or server administration services unless separately contracted.
You retain all rights to content and data you place on our servers. We retain all rights to our infrastructure, software, branding, and documentation. You grant us permission to use your data as necessary to provide services.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect our infrastructure. You are responsible for securing your VPS, including operating system updates, firewall configuration, and application security. We do not access your server content except as necessary for technical support, abuse investigations, or legal compliance.

12.2 By You: You may cancel your service at any time through your account portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period with no prorated refunds.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENT A ROUTE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rent A Route, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We cooperate with law enforcement and may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, Florida.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Service, along with our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rent A Route regarding our services.
